Henry Michael Force

Henry Michael Force passed away with peace, dignity and grace on December 5th, 2014, with his family at his side after a long courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The son of Henry E. Force and Gladys Marinaccio, he was born May 6th, 1948 in Greenville, New York. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Rosemarie Aponte Force and his daughters Cynthia Force-Amador and Lisa Force-Dibble and her husband Szi, all of Middletown, NY. Grandchildren Taylor B. Amador and Ethan S. Dibble. Also survived by his sister Marie Robinson of New Jersey, brothers Robert E. Force of Port Jervis, NY and Jeffrey D. Force of North Carolina. Step-brothers James Clifford, Colin Clifford and his wife Cindy all of the State of Florida; brother and sister in law Art and Toni Lund of Cornwall, NY and Charles and Laura Stein of Otisville, NY, and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Port Jervis High School, who served in the Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. A long time member of Rattler Ridge Sportsman Club and an avid deer hunter and fisherman, who could fish a pond clean of any fish. Michael Loved history and a good debate, and no matter what was going on, he always stopped to watch Jeopardy. Camp fires and good libations with family and friends, the hulk of a man will be missed by all those who knew him well. Many thanks to Drs. Stead and DeVincenzo for all they did to make him comfortable as well as the staff at Goshen Medical. Special thanks to Bonnie and Mary for the emotional and spiritual support. Our wonderful daughters who never missed a moment to show nothing but love and support throughout this time, even though their hearts were broken. And to all his hunting buddies, especially Steve Lyon, his ever present camp adopted son. And to Hospice, especially Christine and the volunteers who came to the rescue, thank you for your support. And Michael's ever present four legged companion Roxie, who never left his side.
