"Mamita" Eufemia Valdez De Flores

Eufemia Valdez de Flores, 81, de Middletown, cariñosamente conocida por todos como "Mamita", Quien fue una Madre, Abuela y Bisabuela muy querida fallecio placidamente en casa el Jueves 4 de Junio, 2020. Ella nacio el 8 de Abril de 1939 en Ayacucho, Peru. Hija de Nativo Valdez y Eloisa Alvarez, vino a vivir a Nueva York en 1995. A Mamita le encantaba cocinar, pasar tiempo con la familia y ver a todos sus nietos crecer. Nada le daba mas alegria que reunirse con la familia y verlos disfrutar de la comida que ella preparaba. A ella le gustaba pasar el tiempo mirando sus novelas, yendo de compras y caminando por la tiendas. Su vida fue alegremente disfrutada viajando a ver a la familia en Peru, Texas y Colorado. A Mamita le sobreviven su hija, Teresa Vignola y su esposo Christopher; su hijo Carlos Flores y su esposa Rosario; su hijo Javier Flores y su esposa Patricia y su hijo Miguel Flores y su esposa Jhodit; sus nietos Katherine Osborne (Sean), Jonathan Vignola (Nicole), Thomas Vignola, Carlos Flores Jr., William Flores, Christian Flores, Derly Flores (Bernardo), Andrew Flores, Melanie Flores, Kimberly Rodriguez, Miguel Flores Jr. and Abraham Flores; sus Bisnietos Gemma Osborne; Ian Osborne; Orlando Flores; Leonardo Sanchez y Mateo Sanchez; al igual que muchos sobrinos y sobrinas. Eufemia fue la Viuda de su querido esposo Froilan Flores. Sus restos seran velados en una ceremonia privada para su familia y amistades cercanas el martes 9 de Junio. El entierro sera en el Cementerio de Saint Joseph el Miercoles 10 de Junio. Eufemia Valdez de Flores, 81, of Middletown, affectionately known to everyone as “Mamita”. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Mamita was born April 8, 1939 in Ayacucho, Peru. Daughter of Nativo Valdez and Eloisa Alvarez, she moved to New York in 1995. Mamita loved cooking, spending time with her family, and caring for all of her grandchildren from the time they were born. Nothing made her happier than gathering with family and seeing them enjoy her home cooking. She enjoyed spending her time watching her novelas, shopping, and going for walks. Her time was happily spent traveling to see family in Peru, Texas, and Colorado. Mamita is survived by her daughter, Teresa Vignola and her husband Christopher; her son Carlos Flores and his wife Rosario; her son Javier Flores and his wife Patricia, and her son Miguel Flores and his wife Jhodit; her grandchildren Katherine Osborne (Sean), Jonathan Vignola (Nicole), Thomas Vignola, Carlos Flores Jr., William Flores, Christian Flores, Derly Flores (Bernardo), Andrew Flores, Melanie Flores, Miguel Flores Jr., and Abraham Flores; great grandchildren Gemma Osborne, Ian Osborne, Orlando Flores, Leonardo Sanchez, and Mateo Sanchez; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Froilan Flores. Her family will receive close family and friends privately on Tuesday, June 9th. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Wednesday, June 10th.
