Carmine Michael Sesa

Carmine Michael Sesa peacefully passed away, surrounded by love and family, on July 12th, 2018. Born January 31, 1930 son of the late Gaetano Sesa and Marie Felicia De Nicola Sesa, he was predeceased by his wife Marie Barcelona Sesa, a son Philip, a grandson Guy Thomas, his wife Sarah Butler Sesa, his sister Filomena “Fanny” Calla and his brother Rocco. He is survived by his sisters Marie Sesa and Ida Filosa and her husband Bob, his sons, Carmine and his wife Laureen and Guy and his wife Lori, and his daughters Rosemarie Chapman and her husband Charlie, Anne Ramos and her husband Carpio, and Janine and her wife Joanne Wilson. He has 10 grandchildren; Carmine and his wife Shannon and sons McCready and Declan, Rebecca and her husband Dan and children Daniel, Madison, Gianna and Georgia, Christina and her husband Rob and daughters Jules and Lyla, Debbie and her husband Roger and children Greta and Otto, Katie and her husband Jason and son Kai, Charlie and his wife Kayla and daughter Lilly, Chase, Kimberly, Kurt, and Kristopher; and many nieces and nephews. A warm and loving man, “Papa” delighted in his ever growing family, including his granddogs, especially Salem, who he liked to call Samuel. He was an accomplished architect who enjoyed working with his hands on house projects in his free time. A pious man, he was active in the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, becoming the grand knight, and he participated in Marriage Encounter and Cursillo. Possessing a lifelong love of music he enjoyed singing in the church choir and regaling his family with his favorite songs, stories and sense of humor. Above all he was devoted to his family. As Papa would say the three most important things in life are faith, famiglia, and love. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday July 17 from 2:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-9:00 pm at Morse Funeral Home Inc. Middletown, NY, A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 18, 11:00 am at Church of St. Joseph 149 Cottage St Middletown NY. Interment will follow Mass at St Joseph Cemetery.
