In Loving Memory of Cecilia Ann Stanchich Cecilia Ann Stanchich, 79, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Middletown, New York. Born on September 9, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, Cecilia was the beloved daughter of Nicola and Dolores Giacomini. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose love and strength held her family together through generations. Cecilia shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband, Lino Stanchich, whom she married on December 19, 1965. Though Lino passed away 37 years ago, their love remained everlasting, and Cecilia carried his memory in her heart every day. She leaves behind her loving children: Deidre and her husband Ralph, Jeanene, Nicholas, Grace, Linette and her husband Morris. Cecilia was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Leann and her spouse Jose, Gabriella , AJ and his wife Marisol, Juddy, Briana, Ricky, Rafael, Aaron, and Viviana. She was additionally blessed with great-grandchildren Madison Olivia, Dallas, Savannah, Chloe, Eli, Bella, and Leonardo, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. A homemaker for most of her life, Cecilia dedicated herself wholeheartedly to caring for her children and grandchildren. She found happiness in cooking for those she loved, enjoying good meals with family, and spending time shopping on QVC. Above all else, she cherished the moments spent surrounded by the people she loved most. Cecilia truly was the glue that held her family together, and her love, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martinez-Morse Funeral Home, 33 Railroad Avenue, Middletown, New York. Burial services will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 12pm at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, New York, where Cecilia will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband and her parents. The family kindly requests donations be made in Cecilia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A charity that she held near and dear. Forever loved, forever remembered.
