Judith Rose

Judith Ann Rose (67) of Highland Falls, NY died on December 12, 2024. Judith was born in Newburgh, NY in July of 1957 to John and Sylvia Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John R. Rose, and her longtime partner Scott Gammon. Judith is survived by her two daughters Christina Lewis and Jessica Everidge (Jared), her Little dog Max, as well as her 11 grandchildren, Jacob (Kim), Jaedyn (Matt), Anthony, James, Dakotah, Taylor, Vincent, Juliana, Marley, Jocelyn, and Ryland. She is also survived by her very best friend, who she considered a sister, Cristi Gordon, and the Gammon family, who welcomed her as one of their own with Scott. She was also very close with Tommy and Jenna Marotta (Oscar) who she treated with love, and was known as grandma Judie to Jenna's children who all loved her dearly. Judith Had a passion for horses from a very young age, she competed in many tournaments, shows, and won many awards growing up for her unseen talent on the back of a horse. She trained Stallions, she gave lessons to many people, including her daughters, she always felt free around horses, and she loved to reminisce about her memories often. Judith was a free spirit, she was a hippy at heart, she loved her music, which she played all the time as loud as she possibly could no matter where she was. She was never afraid to be herself, and she lived a life with a very small filter. She was very kind; she always opened her door for many people. She went through a great deal of difficulties throughout her life, but even in the midst of her storms, she would never look away if someone was hurting or in need. She loved to cook for everyone, she would hand out meals at her apartment complex in Maine, she loved making people laugh, and she was very good at it. She made friends everywhere she went, and there is not one person who has met her that could ever forget her, she shined brighter than most. She had an infectious laugh, she was an amazing writer, she loved muscle cars, she owned many during her years, she loved driving, she loved talking on the phone to all of her friends who lived all over. She had a way of making you feel important and loved, she was a force all of her own. We will be having a memorial Service for Judith this coming Spring, we will announce a date after the new year, we would like to give the time for family and friends the chance to prepare so that everyone can be there to listen to memories, music, and celebrate her beautiful life together, which is what she requested.
