Melissa Hager of Middletown NY passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center Middletown NY on December 30, 2016. She was 61. Born in West Babylon Long Island NY on May 3, 1955 she was a daughter of the late William and Dolores Bruno Allen She was a retired bus driver for the Minisink Valley School District in Slate Hill NY and a member of Winters Chapel in Middletown NY. Melissa is survived by her son John Hager and his wife Faith of New Hampton NY; her significant other of twenty five years, Ronald Storms, at home; her three grand children Rebecca, Wyatt and Howard Hager of New Hampton NY, Nieces Ashley Allen of Middletown NY and Wendy Cormier of Otisville NY and a Nephew William Allen of Middletown NY; her brother Robert Allen and sister Mary Hamm of North Carolina, her brother in law Norman Mann and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Lorenzo Allen and sister Donna Mann Melissa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family in addition to vacationing and visiting beaches. She loved camping at the Round Out Campgrounds and watching her grandchildren race at the Oakland Valley and Hamlin Race tracks. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8PM on Friday January 6, 2017 at Morse Funeral Home, Inc. 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown NY Funeral services will be held at 7:30PM at the funeral home with Bishop Bobby Smith Officiating.
