Rafael "Tito" Lopez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rafael (Tito) Lopez, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, on January 30, 2025, at Westchester Medical Hospital. Rafael was 57 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the cherished son of Devena Vargas (predeceased) and the loving brother of Carlos Lopez and Divina Lopez. Rafael leaves behind his wife, Stephanie Agosto-Lopez, and his nieces, Ashley and Alexis Valdes. He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends who will remember him for his infectious laughter, generosity, and unwavering love. Rafael was a multi-talented individual with a diverse skill set. He worked as a licensed electrician, HVAC technician, and plumber, always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need. His passion for learning led him to earn two associate degrees, one in Criminal Justice and another in Paralegal Studies. Whether it was his work, his family, or his friends, Rafael gave selflessly, always striving to help those around him. Rafael's joy came from spending quality time with those he loved. His warmth, kindness, and deep sense of loyalty will be forever remembered. He had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. A memorial service will be held at Martinez-Morse Funeral Home, located at 33 Railroad Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 on Friday, February 7th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. We invite all who knew Rafael to join us in celebrating his life and the profound impact he had on so many.
